78% trust a company less if it has received negative publicity/bad reviews on the internet.
82% look for reviews before they buy from or enter into partnerships with a company.
39% always or often look for mention of a company online before buying.
A company can lose 27% potential new orders and agreements if it has poor reviews online.
The figures come from a survey conducted by the research institute YouGov in collaboration with SAFEonNET®. A total of 1032 CAWI interviews were conducted with Danes aged 18-74, during the period of 17th – 18th December 2014.
