SAFEonNET® is expanding in the Nordic region and is now also offering the Swedes shitstorm protection.
The Danish reputation management agency SAFEonNET®, which was founded in early February this year, is already expanding to neighboring Sweden based on Danish success and an ambitious strategy.
With a serious strategy for expanding into the international market, SAFEonNET® has allied itself with the international entrepreneur Jacob Laurvigen, and is now - just a month after launch - opening the doors for SAFEonNET® in Sweden. Since their startup in February, the agency has offered businesses protection of their online reputation, which has proven to be a popular service.
With the media's focus on companies' missteps, including the case of 3 Mobile's tax haven or the magazine Cover's use of undernourished models, which has brought both into massive shitstorms, the need for protecting companies' reputations has not diminished.
Now Swedish companies can secure their reputation
With a solid start in the Danish market, SAFEonNET® is now also giving Swedish companies the opportunity to protect their online reputation. And it is with great expectations that SAFEonNET® is now expanding into Sweden: "The Swedish market is twice the size of the Danish, and due to Swedish culture - and not least legislation - the focus here is even stronger when it comes to companies' online reputation", explains Jacob Laurvigen and continues:
"We expect that the Swedish branch will both follow and surpass the Danish success, so that by the end of 2015 we will have a solid Nordic foundation and a company in hyper-growth, ready to enter countries like Germany, France, and England."
SAFEonNET® was founded by the marketing agency ATAK A/S, which, with its 17 years in the industry, is a market leader in online reputation management. The director of both ATAK A/S and SAFEonNET®, William Atak, explains about the aggressive growth strategy:
"Our growth is not only driven by the desire to grow but is also based on an increasing need from our clients who have departments all over the world."
Shitstorms lead to significant losses
According to William Atak, more and more publicly traded companies have become aware in recent years of how sensitive their business and key individuals are to attacks on their reputation, and he elaborates:
"There are many examples of companies that have come close to having to close down due to negative publicity online, and studies also point out how significant a loss companies can face if they end up in a shitstorm."
According to a study conducted by the analysis institute YouGov in collaboration with SAFEonNET® regarding Danes' digital behavior prior to purchase, 70% of Danes would choose not to shop with or collaborate with a company if they encountered negative publicity about it online. The goal of SAFEonNET® is precisely to help companies maintain their good reputation online to prevent a decline in their revenue and to avoid job losses.
On Monday, March 9th, www.safeonnet.se opens.
*The figures come from a study conducted by the analysis institute YouGov in collaboration with SAFEonNET®. A total of 1032 CAWI interviews were conducted with Danes aged 18-74, in the period of December 17th - 18th, 2014.
